Oh! I do like to be beside the seaside!
Through a documentary approach I am looking at Southend’s iconic seafront and Canvey Island on the Thames Estuary in Essex. My work is a celebration of seaside towns. I am looking at the landscape, the visitor experience and lifestyle of its residents. Towns like this are an instrumental part of British culture and have an individuality and eccentricity, not matched anywhere else.
