I do like to be beside the seaside! Through a documentary approach I am looking at Southend’s iconic seafront and Canvey Island on the Thames Estuary in Essex. My work is a celebration of seaside towns. I am looking at the landscape, the visitor experience and lifestyle of its residents. In 1946 it became the UKs first ever New Town which to this day is a revolutionary project.
